The Vikram Solar Somera series is a high-efficiency Monofacial PV module designed for high-power utility and commercial solar installations. Cell Technology: Powered by G12 Mono PERC P-Type solar cells in a 120 half-cut configuration with a micro-gap design to enhance performance and shade tolerance. Enhanced Light Capture: Features cylindrical tabbing wire that increases cell absorption by enhancing scattering effects. High-Power Architecture: Utilizes larger G12 size cells to increase power output and effectively reduce the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). Shadow Management: Integrated with bypass diodes in a split junction box series-parallel connection, allowing the module to perform reliably in partial shadow conditions. Advanced Protection: Equipped with an IP68 split junction box with individual bypass diodes for superior environmental protection and reliability. Robust Framework: Constructed with an anodized aluminium twin-wall profile frame and a 3.2 mm AR-coated high-transmission tempered glass superstrate. Benefits Superior Efficiency: Achieves a maximum module efficiency of up to 21.55%, ensuring high energy harvesting from each panel. Reduced Power Loss: Engineered with lower internal resistance to achieve minimal power loss compared to previous variant modules. Increased Resilience: A higher number of busbars makes the module less prone to efficiency loss and increases tolerance to micro-cracks. Field Reliability: Multiple contact points on the cells lower cell stress during fabrication, improving the long-term field reliability of the product.
